Hello Everyone,
My name is Salim Chahine, I come from Beirut, Lebanon. You probably associate Lebanon to war and chaos , but i hope my blog would help you see what is the real Lebanon, the Lebanon I Love. I have lived all my life in Beirut and I did my school education in a french school and then my college years were at the American University of Beirut (AUB) one of the top universities in the Middle-East. My major as an undergraduate was Economics, therefore my masters degree is Financial Economics. Living in the US is a dream that came true. My interests are reading, swimming, skiing and playing tennis. I hope you will enjoy going through my blog. And see you all in Beirut!!!

THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF BEIRUT EXPERIENCE!

The AUB experience, an experience that I will never forget. It is true that you are not everyday an undergraduate and you are not everyday young and motivated and dreamer. It is at this time of human's life that you understand that nothing comes easily. To get whatever you want you need patience and work, work  and work. It is at AUB that I learned how to hear what others say, that friends are always here to help you in any circumstances and finally that life is not that easy. It is through the support of my parents and friends that I am what I am today. I should not forget to thank the family that was behind me in any step I took and enlightened my thoughts and acts. A big thank to everyone and I hope that I am meeting your expectations!Without you I wouldn't be what I am now.

In June 2010, I was part of the Summer Program at Harvard University for a 2 months class and it was great. Fun, Studies and Parties were present in our daily activities. And specially, the most important thing is that I met people from all over the World!!Cheers to all of you!!!
